Forms To List Your Plane
Thank you for thinking of LASAR Plane Sales now that you have decided to, or are thinking about, selling your plane. I'd like to explain a little about how we work, since it is quite different from other dealers.
LASAR Plane Sales is a division of Lake Aero Styling & Repair, a Mooney Service Center owned by Paul and Shery Loewen. They have been in the "Mooney Business" since 1966, and offer a full service "Mooney Mall", i.e., maintenance, repairs, mods, parts, upholstery, avionics, engines and used plane sales.
LASAR Plane Sales offers a service that mainly puts buyer and seller together, so you will need to be involved in the sale of your plane. Hopefully we will be able to screen out the "tire kickers". We have no contracts (although we will ask you to sign a form saying that if we find you a buyer, we will get a commission). We have no exclusives (you are free to do your own advertising also, although we like to know where you are advertising so we will not duplicate ads and we do like to keep all the prices the same). We have no control you get to keep your plane and fly it, unless you'd like to bring it to Lakeport. We are happy to work either way, but since we have to work harder if the plane is here, we charge $500 more than the prices listed below!
The main advantage of working with us is that hopefully we can get you a little more money for your plane. The plane is only worth so much, but with other dealers, their commission is 6 to 10%.Our rates are:
A plane worth under $70,000 $1000.00
A plane worth between $70,000 and $120,000 $1500.00
A plane worth over $120,000 $2000.00
We have all the necessary paperwork, and access to Title Search Companies, Financial Institutes, Insurance Companies, etc. to help a prospective buyer and you finalize the sale.
You may fill out and return the "Aircraft Commission" Form and "Sellers Spec Sheet" forms, or complete our Online Sales Form. We also need at least 3 digital pictures in a jpeg format; exterior, interior, and panel shot. These are VERY important for the internet listings. We look forward to working with you!
