How LASAR Plane Sales Operates
LASAR Plane Sales is a division of Lake Aero Styling and Repair. Lake Aero Styling & Repair "LASAR" is mainly a Mooney Service Center, specializing in speed mods. We work differently than most dealers who get 6 to 10%; LASAR gets $1000-$2000, depending on the price of the plane. Our service puts buyer and seller together. If you are a SERIOUS buyer, we will put you in direct contact with the seller, (unless the plane is located at our FBO) so you can make your own arrangements to see the plane and get more information, etc.
Owners of Lake Aero Styling & Repair, Paul and Shery Loewen, have been in the aviation business since 1966, and consider themselves "the grandparents" of the Mooney mods, holding over 25 STC's. We have dealers for our mods in various states all over the U.S. Most of our Mod Brochure can be seen here on the site, or we'd be happy to mail one. We are a full service Mooney "Mall" offering every aspect of service you may need: maintenance, repairs, mods, parts, avionics, engines, and used plane sales.
